They should have the parts you need.

mine came from www.ampperformance.com

honestly though, if i had to do it over again, i would have pieced together the kit. if i had done it that way, i could have used aftermarket parts rather than the stock stuff. (clutch, flywheel, etc.) if you would like me to list everything you need, let me know.

The list.....

1991 Mustang GT - Totalled
1994 Mustang GT - Sold
2003 Mustang Cobra - Sold
1994 Mustang GT - Sold
1994 Mustang GT - Sold Again
2006 Mustang GT - Daily Driver

2008 Honda S2000 - The new toy

i looked at the amp swap kit but likewise would like to use an aftermarket shifter, adjustable clutch cable, aftermarket quadrant etc., so maybe it would be worthwhile to list the parts, and its easy to know all the major parts, but its usually the small parts( bearings, c clips, mounting hardware etc...) that get forgotten. im sure many of us would appreciate a complete list

well, the reason i suggested piecing together a kit is because i bought the 94/95 AODE-T5 swap for over $2000 and then replaced everything with aftermarket stuff over the course of the next year. i could have saved a ton of money had i just pieced the swap together with aftermarket parts to begin with. give me a little bit and i'll start putting together a list for you.

Yeah thats a good idea thats why I would do the junk yard for the hard to find stuff like pedal assembly, tranny and starter and you would have money left for clutch and better housing etc...

I have had dealings with all of the companies below with the exception of fordpartsdiscounted.com and my experiences with them were problem free. Some of the parts may be able to be found cheaper elsewhere, or may be substituted with other brands or stock parts to save money, but this should give you a solid starting point as to what you need to buy and some places to buy the parts. There may be some small odds and ends that still need to be found, but to the best of my memory this list is complete.

http://www.ultrarev.com
Fidanza Aluminum Flywheel - PN#: 186501 - $319.00

http://www.buyfordmotorsport.com
King Cobra Clutch (Disc, Pressure Plate, Throwout Bearing)- PN#: 7560-C302 - $169.00

http://www.steeda.com
Steeda Tri-Ax Shifter - PN#: 555-7353 - $179.95
Steeda Clutch Adjuster Kit (Quadrant, Cable, Firewall Adjuster) - PN#: 555-7042 - $99.95

http://www.summitracing.com
ARP High Performance Series Flywheel Bolt Kit - PN#: ARP-100-2801 - $7.88
ARP Pressure Plate Bolts - PN#: ARP-150-2201 - $7.95
Energy Suspension Transmission Mount - PN#: ENS-4-1104R - $26.95

http://www.stangparts.com
94-95 V8 T5 Transmission - $750.00
94-95 T5 5.0L Bellhousing - $200.00
86-01 Shifter Bolts - $25.00
86-95 Bellhousing Bolts - $25.00
86-95 Transmission Bolts - $25.00
86-95 5.0L 5spd. Flex Plate - $44.95
94-95 5spd. Pedal Assembly - $175.00
79-99 Leather Cobra Shift Knob - $35.00

http://www.50resto.com
1979-04 Lower Shifter Boot - PN#: LRS-7277 - $36.95
1994-98 5-Speed Shifter Boot & Bezel - PN#: LRS-04567CAA - $194.95
94-95 T-5 Steel Bearing Retainer (Transmission may include this already, check first!) - $48.95

http://www.fordpartsdiscounted.com
94-95 Pilot Bearing - $14.42
94-03 Release Fork - $26.76

Other necessary parts:
T4M0 5spd. EEC (Necessary for perfect driveability)
Manual Transmission Harness
Dust Cover for the bellhousing to cover the clutch cable and fork

Total - $2412.66 (Almost exactly what i paid for my complete swap with all stock parts from ampperformance.com)

If you have any other questions about anything, feel free to drop me a PM.

FYI:

I guess that's a decent deal on T-5's from "stangparts". But you can get a reman from http://www.phoenixhardparts.com/ for $695. You can also opt for a warranty. Talk to Matt.... the GM.... and see if he will accept the AODE as a core. I'd give them a call, too.

That is a great list Green 94.

FWIW, one should be able to get a new stock flywheel for ~100 beans from D&D (we cant all afford nice alum flywheels).

Awesome list Green 94. I'm going to FFW in Bristol this weekend looking for some parts for the swap. Since the T5, Bell Housing and Pedal Assembly are unique to 94-95 cars, does anyone know if there is a good way to tell the difference between the older and newer parts? I know that the T5 output shaft is longer by about 0.7 inch and I would expect the bell housing to be longer by about the same so a side by side comparison would be easy. I'll have a tape measure with me just in case.

Are the Ford part numbers marked on these parts? If so, then I would expect them to have the F4 designation to tell me if it's a 94/95 part. I do have a cross reference of the Borg Warner part number so that may be an option for the T5.

Also, from other research I've done on the it LOOKS like the V6 T5 is the same except for a couple of the gear ratios. Has anyone ever used a V6 tranny for a V8 T5 swap?

Thanks for any information.
