JPT in Michigan is one of the best. They build a lot of trannys for NHRA stock/super stock cars. Jim is the first to build a rollerized C4. One of the best at converters too. Great to work with.
They don't have a web sight.

Where is JPT in Michigan? I'm curious about this because I'm going to build a C-4 for racing next year.

I have heard good things about Performance Automatic. A lot of guys like them. I doubt that you will go wrong with them, but I still prefer JPT.

Dynamic Racing Trans - 10-26-03, 09:09 PM

just installed new c-4 roller comp in my 89 coupe 460, went from
built trans braked c-6 to a manual valve body no brake comp c-4 and converter. was running 11.0-11.1, now 10.6-7 no other changes
repeated 10.77/10.76/10.78. 10 inch slicks would use no one else from now on.

I do not have a C4 trans, but have been recommended to these two companies, heard that they build bulletproof trans. Check them out. I know a few guys that have bought a few transmissions for a grand national, no experience with them myself.

PA/Dynamic seem to be towards the top in the C-4 market as far as supporting the racers/racing series.....

KillerComet...I see your real local....a good friend of mine who deals with PA does my Trans and knows all the tricks with them. If you want PM me and I'll give you his shop #. He can hook you up and maybe save you a few bucks over a PA trans but no "free" freshen-ups.....lol...like they're "free" anyway. ......
