Question on nitrous and track: - 11-27-03, 06:33 PM

I do not have a window switch, tomorrow will be my first time at the track with the nitrous. I will be running 150 shot Dry N.O.S kit.

I have slicks and an AODE with a 3000 stall and 4.10 gears (it is an 1/8 mile track, so I'm not worried about running out of gear). When I launch, I plan on launching upwards 2800 to 3000 (however strong my front brakes are). Would it be safe to arm the nitrous than, when max stall speed is reached, and floor it injecting nitrous immediately? Or should I wait until 2nd gear before arming? (Wide open throttle switch)

This is by far NOT my first time racing at a track, and I have played with the nitrous several times on the street (burning rubber), so I know its safe.
