? on 2.3 engines - 12-04-03, 01:04 PM

my friends lx is running on 3 pistons and wants to pull that engine and replace it with a better running 2.3 engine for under 250 from another friend. he was also wondering if that the bad engine he is going to pull would be worth rebuilding with forged pistons, aftermarket head/intake, and a turbo. thats if the block is in good condition. so is it worth it?

Definitely! BUT, don't just swap out the internals and use the n/a block, swap in the whole damn turbo 2.3 engine. Use the search feature at the top of the page, as this question comes up quite often.

Why is a Libertarian like me considered a "liberal"? Maybe it's because i'm against big government, perpetual wars, and loss of civil liberties? If that makes me a "liberal", then I guess the founding fathers were anti-American liberals.
