HELP!!! Nitrous fuel pressure problem. - 12-06-03, 09:35 AM

I have a NOS 5115 kit. I wanted to test the fuel pressure at idle today, so I opened the bottle, disconnected from the intake, held the nitrous line away from me, and activated the system. Fuel pressure only jumped to about 45 psi from 40. Is it supposed to only do this at idle? Does the car need to be hauling azz in order for fuel pressure to get high? (80psi)
