Auto-X (Trans Am) type racing lugnut sources? - 12-07-03, 12:36 AM

Hey guys,
I'm trying to give my car a Trans-Am series look (lowered so far with V48s), and I keep seeing these long style lugnuts on the wheels of these cars and replicas and I can't seem to find them anywhere. They appear to be open at the top, I guess so if you are using longer wheel studs. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and possibly where to get them? I found some, but they look like they are all shank and no mounting point but what's at the very top... which wouldn't work with my wheels. Any help y'all?

Thanks,
The Swede

You're talking about the hardened lugnuts for the long wheel studs...found on racecars? Moroso, Moser, Mark Williams Enterprises, Strange, and so on will have different styles of studs and lug nuts to choose from.
