Mustang II ground effects - 12-13-03, 08:53 PM

Has anyone tried to modify some escort/mustang Gt ground effects to fit onto a II?

also, is there a site that has alot of measurements for the II?

Sorry Mattie, I hadnt quite gotten that far. I was gonna start on the "looks" after I got all the "drives" bugs sorted out, but Im not moving as fast as I had hoped.

I have a spare set of side pipe covers for 94-98 Mustangs that need cut down to fit, but it does look good.

Stang2Man has some 87+ ground effects that also look good on a II. They just have a longer wheelbase than the II's, but it is possible with a lot of fiberglass work and/or a plastic welder

Seems that I have seen a white CBII with red stripes with mid-80's GT ground effects. They were not a perfect fit, but were passable.

you can feasibly put the 87-93GT ground effect on a II however you'd have problems with mounting, and you'd have to modify them around the door, cuz the geomety on the II's door is slightly different than the foxes
We had clamped my set of black GT ground effects on my Dad's 78 Cobra, but unfortunately didn't snap any pics at the time. As 98CobraClone mentioned the side exhaust pieces would work as well, and if you'd have to do some work to modify the stuff anyway it wouldn't much matter.

These were on ebay a while ago, snagged the pic as a possible idea for later. To me it looks like the side skirts off of an Escort GT(my bro had a black one before I got my II or I might have snagged them when we junked it after he blew the motor)

What wheels are those? And I don't think those are skirts from a monroe handler. Look too square to me.
