Price '03 Cobra... Deal? - 12-18-03, 10:57 AM

In my quest for a nice '01 Cobra Coupe, I've been nearly unable to resist the temptation for an '03... the fact that dealers still have many new '03s available isn't helping my crave either!
So, been doing some shopping and the best price I've gotten so far is $27,956.67 -not including tax or plate. Am I crazy to pass this up in hoping that the deal may get better?

Thanks for any feedback!

I have checked around and other dealers will honor that price. One has even claimed that they can beat it but they want me to come in before they say exactly how much. It seems that Ford is offering an additional incentive... What's cool about my first find is that it is local to my house and has 8 miles on it : )

Makes me concerned about resale though.....

There is an additional $500 (holiday cash) on the Cobra's as well as the $1500 and $3000 for coupe and verts. I found that out when I had all of them bidding. Probably how they can get the price down.

That makes me sick to think that I paid $25,100 for a Mustang GT. If I could only turn back time and waited on buying the GT.

Open mouth, insert foot. I am thankful that you were able to put it in that perspective, however, am also sorry if that has caused some grief...
