X pipe ?

I am new at this. I read about people putting on X pipes with a CB. What exactly is an X pipe? CAn I get one for my SVT focus?

An x-pipe is where the exhaust pipes from both sides of the engine converge into one and then back out into two pipes again. They help to channel exhaust tones and make the engine run better and smoother. And no, you can't run an x-pipe on your focus because its only 4 cylinder and only has one exhaust pipe that runs from the headers to the tail pipe.
