That's funny, not a snowball's chance in hell.
Their argument is weak.
What with all the traffic cameras coming on these day's, if anything they will be cracking down on the whole front plate thing.
back when I never had mine on (before I was cited for it) I used to go through an intersection in La Jolla with a camera, I saw that thing flash in my face 2 or 3 times but with no front plate, no ticky ever showed up in the mail.

Yeah, I kinda thought the same thing, no real chance of it happening, but a neat idea. I saw they are changing a lot of the red-light cameras to do a rear-view pic as well. So don't count on that missing plate to bail you out!
