Damn....I hate it when things like this happen.
Rusty: You down to go? I know a few prime spots, but we would have to go out and get them on a Wednesday and pay for Wed., Thur. night to ensure them. We can roll out there before and look'em over.
Dustin: You better read this and reply.....

Just a gathering to get to know others in the area. ia m new to the scene and figured what better way to pull others out off of the boards. Seem the SOCAL boards are dead pretty much everywhere I look. I attribute that to the good weather and track time days available
I need some ideas and knowledge of local track rules so hope you all can help.

More Info from other thread -
05-26-04, 06:08 PM
Let's keep this thread alive for planning/Communication. I hope to get a good showing and if we know for sure we may have one I may get Meguiars to come out and show some products. Have about 5-6 people here at work interested.
I will be using June 19th for the date to have a Mustang Meet & BBQ. Lake Casitas in Ventura County. If you can, show up and meet some new faces. Everyone will be a new face/name for me.
Also have several run options for those inerested after the BBQ, Up HWY33, Chumash Casino, or head to Wendy Drive in TO for their get together

Sounds sweet man!! I'm down for Lake Casitas maybe even some camping and alot of drinking. The drive up to Wendy drive sounds cool too. How many people do you have going so far?
Rusty, Dustin...you guys in for sure? We can reserve some spots. I know a pretty sweet area with big sites. We can drive out and scope it out if you want.
Let me know....

Have about 6 guys from work intersted. Camping is another option and probably one I will exercise. When do you all want to drive out and scout the sites?

Hmm....This weekend is going to be a zoo due to the holiday weekend so maybe the following weekend? I may be camping out there that weekend too, if so ...your more than welcome to hang out and drink some beers.
Rusty, Dustin....you guys down?
This is really cool man, we were talking about starting our own little group out here in Ventura County. At least build a network of stang owners to discuss **** and bounce ideas off of. Got any pics of your car? There is a link to my car in my sig.

Hey I am down for it, camping too, never really been camping though. This would be a perfect time to get this group idea rolling too. Blev haven't had much time lately to pm you about it, but now that I got that damn hummer finished I will have lots more time to check forums at work.
I had my numbers in my sig but they didn't stay, huh. See if they do this time.

Sweet deal.....
Camping is fun man, you get to sit outside under the sky and actually see some stars!! Nice fire and an endless suply of alcohol!! Only bad part is trying to sleep and hearing people in the tent next to you gettin freaky or snoring. Word of advice...keep you tent FAR away from mine because I'm guilty of both. Ha..Ha..ha...
I forgot about the Chandler Museum tour. This is also on the 19th from 10:00 til 2:00. I'm all about this camping deal though, so if we miss the club event it's cool.

Closer to your backyard than mine, since I am in Simi. But I am always down for some good old-fashioned fun. Plus, it'd be great to finally meet some of the local talent!

BJ's -
05-27-04, 01:02 PM
A pre-plan at BJ's sounds good when is everyone available? How about sometime next week or weekend?
I guess I could say I've been camping, sort of. I go spend two weeks at Fort Hunter Ligget in the mountains in up north every three months, but thats doing the military field exercise thing. Close but not the same.
Hey now I have a link to some pics in my sig, took me a minute to figure out how to put the stupid pics in.
