Exclamation Looking for rides to display in Des Moines - 06-05-04, 01:31 PM

Hi everyone!

It's a bit uncomfortable to be asking for help on the first post so let me introduce myself first. My name's Kyle and my wife and I are not new to the hobby as we've owned Mustangs since 1980 to include a 65, 66, 72 Mach, and 83 and 84 GT's. In fact we still have our first (66 hardtop). We enjoy the shows but prefere to drive our fastback. We've lived in the midwest for 11 years and find it a great place to raise a family.

Now to my request. My wife is working her way through college (better late than never!) as an Events Coordinator at Younkers. She has been short noticed tasked with providing some nice cars to be displayed in Southridge Mall in Des Moines for a pre-Fathers Day event next Sat. the 12th. The cars will be roped off and out of reach of spectators. Owners are free to shop, browse, field questions or whatever while the cars are on display. Younkers has asked for a couple hours in the afternoon so I was thinking getting the cars in before the mall opens at 10am and going to around 2 or ?. 3 cars have volunteered so far but it would be nice to have about a dozen.

We could even do breakfast as a group beforehand if anyone wants to. Would be nice to meet some new folks in the hobby.

Anybody interested?

Kyle

Thanks anyway. Had a good turn out regardless.
