Central Florida Dyno Days - 06-08-04, 02:51 PM

As mentioned in the July issue of Muscle Mustang & Fast Fords magazine (page 28), PDQ Performance Whse is organizing a Mustang Madness Dyno Days event on July 17-18. We have Mustang Dynamometer’s latest MD-600 Eddy Current Dynamometer, which is capable of handling over 1,000 horsepower We are expecting a large turnout and we look forward to many of you guys coming.

Here’s what will be happening at the event…

1. For modified vehicles (1988-newer Mustangs) that need custom programming, 2 of this country’s best computer programmers from DiabloSport (Patrick & Willie) will be on hand lending their expertise in tuning.

2. For stock or modified Mustangs that are interested in checking their power output to the wheels.

3. Older Mustangs are not excluded from this event (but no tuning…just pulls).

4. Muscle Mustang & Fast Ford will be giving away subscriptions to their magazine.

5. Food and drinks will be provided.

6. There may be some door prizes, etc… (companies or clubs interested please contact me)

We are located in Central Florida 15 minutes NE of Orlando (exit 101c on I-4)

If any Mustang Clubs or Product manufactures would like to get involved with this event or would like to promote your Club with brochures, flyers, door prizes or in person…we welcome you all. However, we will need to hear from you no later than June 25, 2004.

Actually, I am one of the owners of PDQ. So I will not be able to participate in the convoy. We are looking forward to meeting all of those that are coming.

Update:
RPM Oulet is offering some prizes for the event.
1. MotoBlue cold air intake kit for the lowest HP Mustang (99-04). Retail value of $189.
2. Ignition Solutions Plasma Booster for the highest HP Mustang (99-04). Retail value of $269.
3. MotoBlue cold air intake kit and MAF meter for the highest HP 03-04 Cobra. Retail value of $259.

We are hearing from many different vendors/manufactures so, I'm sure there will be more to come.

We should be making our first pull at 9:15-9:30 on Saturday and keep going until we run out of cars or time.
On Sunday, I believe the first pull will start around 10.

Actual costs will be as follows...

1. For just pulls, the fee will be about $65 for 3 pulls.
2. Purchase a Predator with tuning
3. Already have Predator, but just need tuning
4. Purchase a DiabloSport Revolution chip and tuning5. Already have DiabloSport Revolution chip, but just need tuning (DiabloSport "Red" chips cannot be reprogrammed at the dyno event).

Since we aren't a supporting vendor on this site, I can't post the tuning fees. Feel free to give me a call or email.
