I have a 2000 GT and I need to replace the head on the drivers side. I live in Paramount. Just north of Long Beach, CA. Can anybody tell me where I can find a good shop. The Dealer is charging me $2700. Need Help!

I assume that includes the price of the head? but what is wrong with the head that it needs replacing?
seldome do you need to replace a head, maybe valves, springs, gasket,etc but "the head"?
