Hats Off To A Great Stangnet Member!!! - 06-17-04, 08:31 PM

I have to let the whole site know what a fellow Stangnet member did for me. I have another post below asking help from Indiana residents, involving a deal gone bad on the Corral Classifieds. ss93cobra came to my rescue. He went way out of his way to go to the kids house, get my merchandise, and ship it. I don't know of many people that would to that for a complete stranger. If he ever comes to Massachusetts I owe him a steak dinner! Hats off to you Scott. Thanks a million!

Wow. I have been a frequent visitor of various message boards since I started driving and I have seen a lot of online transactions go sour.

Of all the sour deals Ive seen on F-Body, Explorer, import, mustang and car audio boards there is usually a bunch of people "willing" to "drive down there and help out" but I have never actually heard of someone actually doing it.

Thats pretty awesome of you to take care of someone you don't know like that. It definitely says something about accountability on this forum. If the person you took money can't come for you, a stranger might. Good job.

Hey, really it wasn't a big deal. It's not like the individual put up a fight or anything either. A fellow stanger needed some help and I felt that it was the right thing to do. If more of us in this country did the right thing it'd be a better place. The best way for me to show my children right from wrong is to do the right thing leading by example......

I'd like to think that any of us would have done the same thing if they were in my shoes.

Hey I put people in their place all day at work. Specially the guys that come in and have a porn infested computer and I tell them the spyware came from porn sites and they say "Are you serious? I dont do that!" then i show them the directory of porn on their hard drive

So yeah i'd probably do it for anyone who deals with bogus West Side Michigan people. I love causing a ruckus too! I wouldn't mind rumbling with them either!
