Moving to SD soon, does anyone recommend an agent? -
06-24-04, 02:18 AM
Looks like early august is the target day. I am looking to rent a house, does anyone know of one or an agent to find one? I will be working out of Solana Beach, don't want to stray to far, also looking for a decent neighborhood.

The way house/rent prices are in San Diego you may want to post a price range of sorts to give people a better idea of what area you can afford...

Sean and mines is $600/mo (soon to be $700 ). But then again our neighborhood isn't that nice compared to UTC. Cheap rent.
Everybody has to believe in something...
I believe I'll have another drink.

I found one of his cards, I don't know if this is something he handles or not; but he should be able to at least refer you to someone that does.

I don't think that's going to happen in Solana Beach
Sorry, don't want to sound like a total bummer but Solana Beach is actually the most exspensive comunity in the county.
Maybe in Oceanside (ten minutes to the north) or
Mira Mesa (ten minutes to the south).

I understand, but the office is out of Solana Beach...I will have a roommate, so I can probably go as far as 2000 a month.

You might get there with 2 k a month. There is a little neighborhood that used to be a bario but has cleaned up allot, there are some little houses in there built in the 50's that you might get for that.
Either way, when you move down here let us know and we can hook you up with a great group of Stangers.
