Amber fog lights - 04-12-05, 12:31 AM

I searched around here trying to find out if there are any places that sell amber foglights for 99-04 GTs, but I can't find anything. Anyone know if I can get amber lights down there somehow?

What's the bulb size? I asked the guy at pep boys and he said the foglights are halogens and they only come in clear bulbs.

I've been thinking about doing the same. The factory fogs suck!

Thanks for the response, but what color are these exactly? I am looking to match the amber turn signal color and these say hyper yellow.

oh ok,no these will look like the yellow ones that come on the is300 or some of the others that run yellow fogs, its that golden faint yellow color, kinda like the ones you see on the lemans cars.I dont think they make an amber 899 or 893.I'll try and look

There are a few sets on EBay for cheap. I was debating buying a set and going for that amber fog light look

i think SRT HANDZ just went to amber fogs...maybe he will see this and post pics. I was also thinking of doing it. My Lexus has the amber/yellow fogs and it does make a big difference in bad weather.

- I got the amber lens kit from Moss Mustang; I also put chrome trim rings on my foglights. The kit is actually just extra thick yellow film (16.5 mm thick) that covers the light (easy to install). The kit comes pre-cut for the headlights and foglights but I just used it on the foglights. Prior to doing this, whenever I drove with my foglights on, on-coming vehilces used to flash their high-beams at me thinking my high-beams were on.

- Great solution. Everyone 05-07 Mustang owner with the grill mounted foglights should do this!!!
