Paint question - 05-15-05, 01:15 PM

I bought a toneau cover fot my convert. It has the ford gray currenly on it. Should I -
#1. Sand it down
or
#2. Use paint remover

Will the sandind job mess up the cover. I'm not sure it if is urithane or fiberglass. Its from classic concepts.

I wouldn't use any paint remover at all. If you are going to have it painted, just bump it with some 800 or so and call it a day.
