:QUOTE=final5-0]I am glad you did not take my reply as me wanting to ............
Rain all over your parade
Since you got it for a very good price.
Seems like you could get out from under it easily ......... that is
unless you wanted to give it a try.
Even though 25% is unreasonable ........
One would think it would give some kind of gain.
Grady[/quote]
surely it would make -some- difference....
but some of the guys that posted on here , in other threads, that used the 400 said they had some idle issues and crappy throttle response
like you said, i dont have too too much in it, maybe i can sell it.
wonder if i could get $150 out of it ....thats 1/2 what a new one costs
anyway, guys on here said to take what grady says as gold.....so grady, shoot me some advice. take a look at my sig. i want to make at least 300 rwhp.....can i do it with that combo?
cant decide on afr 185s or 165s.... i get different opinions from different ppl. they say for what im doin, the 165 might suit some more bottom end grunt.
and yes..i know i know i have a off-the-shelf cam on there and it may be a little on the big side. i called Reed custom cams to get some specs on a custom grind and his cam is so close to a trickflow stage1. his is like 222/228 and 510/510. the stage1 is 221/225 499/510 . that seems REALLY close for a extra $120.....what do u think?
id like to run the tfs stage 2 ....i want some thumpin but i dont want too much cam either and kill the bottom end.....
can i get away with the stage 2 (224/232 542/563)?
or is that custom grind that much different than a stage 1?
any help would be GREATLY appreciated
thanks again
