Gold color emblem 1999 Mustang - 08-02-06, 12:10 PM

Hi guy's
I just became the new owner of a 35th Anniversary Dark Green 1999 V6 Mustang with something speciale about it.The fender emblem, running horse grille emblem and the Ford emblem on the trunk are gold colored/platted.The Mustang was shipped last year from Texas to the Netherlands.Does anybody know anything about the gold color, maybe a dealer option or somthing like that??
The VIN code is : 1FAFP4042XF220432
I have some pic's of it on my Putfile.com site so you can see it.

Sorry, but your 1999 V6 Mustang is not a "Limited Edition" In fact a "Limited" could not be ordered as a V6.
As for the gold emblems, Ford/dealers have been swapping out badges that are gold for years and calling it "Gold Editions". Back in 1996 I looked at a green GT and it had them too.
see www.mustang35th.com for "facts" on the "Limited"

Uw nieuwe mustang is mooi. Ik hield van de foto's en van de video.

I was glad to see all of the Mustangs in the Netherlands. I must visit some day.
