fuel sending unit

We just purchased a 76 Mustang 11 coupe. The gas gauge doesn't work at all--stuck on empty. We were told they didn't make any more sending units since 1984.

Does anyone know where or have one we can get one from?

I may have a spare one. I got a replacement tank (well, two actually...) but I haven't had a chance to check the senders. How big a rush are you in for one?

thanks BC, we are still looking at a couple of other possible sending units. I will absolutely let you know if these fall through.
