Exclamation Roush Short-throw shifter......How is it overall?! - 10-30-06, 10:04 PM

I have a 2003 Mach 1 and am deliberating over whether to get a roush short throw shifter or an MGW. Please give as much feed back on this subject as possible.

Best advice is to try to find someone with a MGW so you can try it out. Personally I like the MRT short shifter offered by Scott Hoag once the project manager for the Bullitt and the Mach 1.

I have it in my Roush I swapped the long armed JR shifter for a Steeda smaller one... and have been happy ever since.

I have the longer arm short throw shifter, and I like the quickness. It is less travel than even in the Shelby. The throws are crisp and quick.

I have a 2003 380R and just changed from the Roush short throw that was in there (Manufactured by Steeda) to the new HURST short throw and I think it is really great! shorter throw, postive feel. love it.

I have a new Roush short throw shifter in a box for my 06. I'm going to install it this weekend. I'll let you know what I think
