Switch Tune? - 05-28-07, 06:37 AM

Once I finish my mustang I will be getting it dyno tuned (using the EEC-IV). And I was wondering how you have more then one possible tune? I understand you need a chip from companies like SCT or diablo. So my question is how do you wire the switches?

The switch will be part of the chip that you get.

Some chips can allow 2 tunes, some allow more...

Have you selected the dyno shop that will perform the tune?
They will be able to answer all the specifics on how many tunes you may need, and will have access to using their gear.

Why are you looking for multiple tunes?

I just got the Tweecer RT and I have a possible 4 tunes, plus number 5 for bypassing and using the tune on the EEC. There's a small knob that came with mine for the swapping of tunes and I can change between tunes on the fly with engine running. (I HAVE DONE IT)
