Win $1000 in Prizes from AmericanMuscle.com!
AmericanMuscle.com is giving away $1000 in prizes to StangNet members! Because it’s July, the month we celebrate patriotism, it’s only right to stay with that theme. So, we’re having a contest and we’re giving away some AMAZING prizes!
The contest is simple: take a patriotic picture of your Mustang.
(no photochops, doctoring OK, but needs to be a 'real' patriotic image)
All pictures must have a patriotic theme! It doesn’t matter if it’s your car with an American flag draped over it, or with fireworks in the background. As long as it is patriotic, it’s acceptable.
We’ve got THREE Great Prizes to give away:
First Place: A set of GT4 wheels in their choice of color.
Second Place: A $200 AmericanMuscle.com Gift Certificate
Third Place: A $100 AmericanMuscle.com Gift Certificate.
And just for participating, every person that submits a photo will receive an AmericanMuscle.com T-Shirt!
The contest will run from Midnight, July 4th, 2007 to 11:59 p.m. July 31, 2007. All participants must submit at least one photo in this thread to be considered for the prizes.
There, of course, are a few necessary rules:
1. Entries must be posted in this thread between 12:00 a.m. on July 4th and 11:59 p.m. on July 31st.
2. Your entry must have a patriotic theme. (We recognize that not everyone on the board is American, so if you live outside of the U.S. we would love for you to show us your Mustang representing your country’s patriotism!)
3. You may submit as many photos as you like!
4. EVERYONE is eligible!
Have fun and be creative!
That’s it! It doesn’t get any easier than this to win $1000 in prizes.

I tripped & fell down and cut myself & got blood on my Abercrombie & Fitch shirt & tore my Abercrombie & Fitch shirt & now I can't wear my Abercrombie & Fitch shirt because I got blood on it. And it got torn, too.

Me and My mustang -

This was done for my 2006 Junior Military Member of the Quarter award. Also my favorite pic.
This is me and my car the only editing is the color layers.

Yes, these are some nice pics, but we need actual pictures of your Mustangs that you take in a patriotic way.

I take it that the Canadian and other non-American based members are gonna have to straddle the sidelines on this one?
....besides, I've got a feeling that a picture of my Cougar in all it's glory in front of a "Canadian" maple leaf might go over like a fart in church here.

So Gambi,
The pic of yours and the other two with the flag is yours and is a real pic, not a chop job?

So... Is it random selection of all entrants for winners or is it based on which submitted picture is judged the best?

Not that the others aren't nice, but people shouldn't have to sift through all of the "other" pictures to get to the legitimate ones..

From the rules...
2. Your entry must have a patriotic theme. (We recognize that not everyone on the board is American, so if you live outside of the U.S. we would love for you to show us your Mustang representing your country’s patriotism!)

Skimmed right over that. Ah well, either way, me driving a Cougar leaves me out.

Well, being an artist and a photographer, I prefer not to think of my work as "chop jobs", but if you are asking if I added the other two cars to the composition, then the answer is yes, I did. I didn't realize that that was against the rules until reading back through the original post. Sorry!

Okay, even though the car was a rental at the time it was "mine" for the two weeks I had it. It was taken in front of the hospital the morning after my son was born and was what he rode home in when he came hom from the hospital the next day.
